Memento mori

The names, Nº 1
Memento mori is Latin. It means: remember that you will die.
It sounds heavier than it is. Painters used to put a skull on the table next to the fruit and the flowers, to remind whoever was looking that the fruit would rot and the flowers would close. They called these paintings vanitas, and most of them are very beautiful. The skull never really spoils them.
Our Memento Mori tee has no skull. It has a portrait of a young woman, pale, with dark hair and red lips, painted the old way. Under her, in dark red: MEMENTO MORI.
We like the name because it is not sad. It is the reason to wear the good shirt today and not save it.
